Pantone Color Institute’s Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman, explained why they chose a vivacious and appealing reddish orange hue as the color of the year on Pantone’s press release earlier this month. She stated that Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it, sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive. “Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy”, she further stated. While researching about online bingo sites, I read from some articles that Tommy Hilfiger, Nanette Lepore, Cynthia Steffe by Shaun Kearney, Elie Tahari and Adrienne Vittadini, are incorporating this orange hue into their spring collections.
Bloomingdale’s fashion director Stephanie Solomon said in an interview with CNN that the catch-all phrase of the season is femininity. Solomon further stated, “(Earrings are) the ultimate punctuation point for femininity. We will also see pretty pumps. It is no longer aggressive combat boots or thick-soled wedges. Everything will be much more delicate — ladylike structures and in color.” This is good news to us fashionable ladies, right?
Elle.com reported that based on New York Fashion Week, the strongest trends for spring 2012 are ball gowns and floral suits.

And who can resist wearing this exquisitely striped statement trench Burberry Prorsum by Christopher Bailey strutted by this stunning model on the runway of London Fashion Week.
Dolce & Gabbana’s evening dress with embellishments and jewels is so fashionable it landed a spot on Marie Claire’s top pick from Milan Fashion Week.
This creation by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy is a must have. Not because it was strutted on the runway by Gisele Bundchen but because the sequin-covered tuxedo jacket will make everyone envious of you if you’re wearing one.
Whether you’ll follow the trend or you’ll be making your own trend for this coming year, always remember that less is more.

Yes! It is indeed the less is more! I less expect that I’ll be reading about fashion here and Tangerine Tango, a color, which I less known it, is an orange with a lot of depth to it, sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, has more emphasis on this “less” fashion show.

Let’s bring on the orange hues!
Happy fashionable 2012…though I’d probably still be donning jeans as a fashion statement most of the time. 
I’m more into the DG dress pic…but at present I’ll stick to my jeans
and may I add a person doesn’t have to always go with the trend but must dress according to what complements his/her physique.
